I've worked as a freelance writer since October 2001, and elsewhere on this site you can see some of the many articles I've had published in that time. However, should you want to know a bit more about me.......
Prior to 2001, I worked for 5 years at Alchemis, a company that finds new business opportunities for marketing and communications agencies. I joined the Covent Garden based company in October 1996, as a graduate trainee, and worked my way up, becoming Client Services Director in May 2000. In that role I recruited, trained and managed a team of 15 salespeople and was responsible for a client base of £1.5m.
Up until then I'd been in education. I received a 2:1 in Politics & Philosophy from the University of York in 1996. I went to Allhallows School in Lyme Regis where I got A-Levels in English Literature, Latin, and History.
I was married to Claire at Arley Hall on 8th October 2005. I work from our home, a flat in Balham. I play cricket and golf when I can, spend a lot of time running around Tooting Bec Common, and support Tottenham Hotspur FC more in hope than expectation.
I am also a Fellow of the Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures & Commerce (www.rsa.org.uk), and a member of Toastmasters International (www.toastmasters.org)
